GMail allows you to view Google Docs right from the Email. You don't have to switch tabs for a Google Document preview. The only thing you want to do is to enable it.
>Go to 'Settings'
>Open 'Labs'
>Enable 'Google Docs Preview in Email'
>Create a Google Doc
>Click 'Share' and then 'Email As Attachment'
>Add recipient email address
>Now to use this feature you'll have to select 'Paste the document itself into the Email message' (This will send the document context only not the Google document file)
>Enter subject, message and click send.
>If you want to send the Google Doc as a file then don't change the default option 'Attach Document as'.
