Google Map saver is a free and easy to use utility which avoids the hassle of using site for finding particular location. It allows us to download any location searched to be saved as .png, .jpeg, .bmp format images. We can search images by entering location or co-ordinates. The images can be saved in many resolutions from window size, iphone to custom 4096x4096. Another good option is that it supports different map view like Hybrid, satellite, terrain. This small application is directly runnable and don't need any installation. More over it supports all Windows platform including Windows 7. For Mac users they would need to install WineHQ in order to use it.
