Superboot HTC Nexus One on Android 2.1

Guys this is real. Unbelievable? just bite your fingers. :D

Modaco Android forum experienced a strange thread, explaining how to root Google Nexus One prior to its
Official launch on 5th January. Prior to release! How?. Well, they got hold of Android ROM 2.1 running on HTC manufactured smartphone. Paul calls it a "Superboot" mechanism. As its said

"Superboot is a boot.img that when flashed, will root your device the first time you boot (installing su and the superuser APK). No need to flash the system partition, no need to use ADB, no messing with the contents of your data partition, no overwriting the shipped ROM on your device, just flash the boot image using the instructions below and you're done!"

How to Superboot Google Nexus One?
1- Download Superboot zipped file and unzip to any directory
2- Put your device in bootloader mode, turn it off, remove battery, plug in USB cable, when battery icon appears onscreen, replace battery then tap the powerbutton while holding the Camera key
3- a) For WINDOWS: Double click 'install-superboot-windows.bat'
b) For MAC: Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type
'chmod +x install-superboot-mac.sh' followed by './install-superboot-mac.sh'
c) For LINUX: Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type
'chmod +x install-superboot-linux.sh' followed by './install-superboot-linux.sh'
